iPhone Cases, Covers and Screen Protectors
By Cool Banana
Don't let your iPhone get scratched and get yourself some protection.
With a vareity of cases, covers and screen protectors there's no excuse to put it off as most of them cost under $10 so its not much to spend considering a new IPhone 4 costs around $500.
So let's get started with the cheapest option first - Screen protectors...
iPhone Screen Protectors
A cheap and basic option, a screen protector will help prevent scratches, glare and fingerprints, but they will only protect your screen leaving the sides and back of your iPhone open to damage. They are however pretty much invisible when fitted and do not bulk out your phone like cases and covers.
Most iPhone screen protectors come in packs of 3 to 4 and are reusable.
Screen protectors are a good start in protecting your iPhone and as they only cost from $1 upwards, you have nothing to lose by buying one.
iPhone Cases
The next step up from screen protectors, cases offer a more rounded protection solution for your iPhone.
You can buy simple snap on rubber cases for around $3 that do a reasonable job of keeping your phone scratch and dent free and no not add bulk.
If you want a more robust solution, then a case from Otterbox will keep your phone better protected when taking a nasty drop.
For a bit of style there are plenty of leather case options to choose from. You can also get them for really cheap if you don't buy genuine leather and go for the PVC style leather which can look really good anyway.
iPhone Metal Cases
If you fancy standing out from crowd and getting something a bit different, then have you considered buying a metal case? They can look really cool and come in aluminium, gold, silver and chrome.
Most of them aren't actually made of these metals, they have metal effect finish to make them look like they are, so you're not paying a fortune for some style. You can buy solid gold phone cases, but most of us don't have thousands of dollars to spend on such a luxury, so keep it real and go for the fake options.
